Fixomull® stretch

Fixomull® stretch is an adhesive bandage that is used to fix wound dressings.The particularly stretchy, soft and water vapor permeable product was developed by the LEUKOPLAST-experts to ensure secure and comfortable fixation on areas of the body that move a lot or have strong contours.It is ideal for the full-surface fixation of wound dressings, ointment dressings, instruments, probes, catheters and measuring devices.

Area of application

The bandage is cuddly due to its transverse elasticity and adapts well to strongly contoured parts of the body.Stiffness, congestion and circulatory problems are prevented.Fixomull® stretch has good immediate and permanent adhesion as well as good air and water vapor permeability.It prevents contamination, is also well tolerated by people with sensitive skin and is easy and versatile to use.

Mode of action

Fixomull® stretch is a full-surface bandage fixation made of transversely elastic polyester fleece, which is suitable for applying and fixing bandages.Due to its high adaptability, it can be used for flexible dressings in the operating room, on the ward or in outpatient care.It is also suitable for large-area dressings as it can be cut to size, which saves material and costs.Fixomull® stretch fixes bandages quickly and easily, prevents constrictions, congestion and circulatory problems and has good immediate and permanent adhesion as well as good air and water vapor permeability.

Fixomull® stretch consists of polyester fleece coated with polyacrylate adhesive.

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Fixomull® stretch is suitable for fixing wound dressings and compresses on areas of the body and joints that move a lot, as well as for securely attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements.It is cuttable and cuddly.The application takes place in three steps: First, the required amount is cut off, then half of the protective film is removed and the bandage is stuck to the affected part of the body.The second half of the protective film is then removed, the bandage is completely applied and smoothed out.
