Leukoplast® is a water-repellent, skin-colored fixation plaster that was specially developed for normally sensitive skin.It is characterized by its exceptional tensile strength and high instant and permanent adhesive strength.The plaster adheres firmly and securely even under heavy loads and is permeable to air and water vapor at the same time.

The Leukoplast® material consists of a carrier with a water-repellent surface made of rayon (viscose) that is coated with a rubber-resin adhesive.The antimicrobial Leukoplast® coils reduce the risk of infections by lowering the pH value by creating an environment in which pathogenic germs are destroyed.This offers active infection prevention for users and patients.

Is Leukoplast® waterproof?The material of the classic Leukoplast® roll is water-repellent, but not waterproof.However, there is also a waterproof version that adheres securely thanks to a waterproof impregnation of the rayon fiber carrier.

Can Leukoplast® cause an allergy?An allergy cannot be ruled out due to the natural rubber latex it contains.Therefore, to be on the safe side, a possible allergy should be checked with a doctor beforehand.
