Leukoplast® is a water-repellent, skin-colored fixation plaster that was specially developed for normally sensitive skin.It is characterized by exceptional tensile strength and high instant and long-term adhesion.The plaster adheres firmly and securely even under heavy loads and is permeable to air and water vapor at the same time.

The material of the Leukoplast® consists of a carrier with a water-repellent surface made of rayon (viscose) that is coated with a rubber-resin adhesive.The antimicrobial properties of Leukoplast® coils can reduce the risk of infections by lowering the pH and creating an environment in which pathogenic germs are destroyed.This offers active infection prevention for users and patients.

Composition and properties

Leukoplast® consists of a carrier with a water-repellent surface made of rayon wool (viscose), coated with zinc oxide rubber resin adhesive.It is suitable for normally sensitive skin, highly adhesive, durable even under heavy loads, exceptionally tensile and permeable to air and water vapor.It is also thermostable at temperatures between 0 and +30 °C.
