Mepore Pro is a self-adhesive, absorbent dressing suitable for low to moderate exuding wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions.The shower-proof outer layer offers protection against dirt and bacteria.The material consists of acrylic adhesive, viscose fleece, polyester fleece and polyurethane film.

Application

Before use, you should clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.Do not use moisturizers, gels, or ointments on the skin around the wound as this may affect adhesion.Remove the protective films and apply the adhesive side to the skin without stretching the bandage.Make sure the absorbent pad covers the wound.Gently press the edge to ensure proper adhesion.To remove, grasp the edge of the bandage and slowly pull it away from the skin in the direction of hair growth.

Mepore Pro should be changed before it is fully saturated, if there are signs of leakage, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Precautions

Do not use Mepore Pro on people with a known hypersensitivity to acrylic adhesive or other materials in the product.Do not use the bandage on sensitive skin as it may cause skin irritation.Do not stretch the bandage when applying it, especially when applied over joints.If you have any signs of infection, such as fever or redness, warmth, or swelling of the wound or surrounding skin, contact a healthcare professional.Mepore Pro is a disposable product and should not be reused.If reused, product performance may deteriorate and cross-contamination may occur.Do not use the dressing if the inner packaging (sterile barrier) is damaged or opened.
