Scope of application

Mepore Pro is a self-adhesive, absorbent dressing that can be used on low to moderate exuding wounds such as surgical wounds, cuts and abrasions.The shower-proof outer layer offers protection against dirt and bacteria.

Application steps

First, you should clean the wound and dry the surrounding skin thoroughly.Do not use moisturizers, gels, or ointments on the skin around the wound as this may affect adhesion.Then remove the protective films and apply the adhesive side to the skin without stretching the bandage.Make sure the absorbent pad completely covers the wound.Gently press the edge to ensure proper adhesion.To remove the bandage, hold it by the edge and slowly pull it away from the skin in the direction of hair growth.

Mepore Pro should be changed before it is fully saturated, if there are signs of leakage, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

Mepore Pro consists of acrylic adhesive, viscose fleece, polyester fleece and polyurethane film.No prescription is required for this product.

Precautions

Mepore Pro should not be used on people with a known hypersensitivity to acrylic adhesive or other materials in the product.Avoid use on sensitive skin as it may cause skin irritation.Do not stretch the bandage when applying it, especially when applying it over joints.If you have any signs of infection, such as fever, redness, warmth, or swelling of the wound or surrounding skin, seek medical attention.Mepore Pro is a disposable product and may not be reused.If reused, product performance may be impaired and cross-contamination may occur.The product is sterile and must not be used if the inner packaging (sterile barrier) is damaged or opened.
