Directions for use of the article "Veratrum Pentarkan S Mixture". Indications: - Homeopathic medicinal product for use in diarrhoeal disorders of various causes. Product properties: - Veratrum Pentarkan S helps in diarrhoeal disorders which occur mainly in summer or after cold or unaccustomed food. - It relieves the painful urge to defecate, normalises the consistency of the stool and the frequency of defecation. - The general condition improves rapidly as a result. Active ingredients: - Veratrum Dil. D3, Arsenicum album Dil. D5, Mercurius sublimatus corrosivus Dil. D8, Xysmalobium undulatum e radice siccata Dil. D2. Contraindications: - Must not be used when taking cardiac glycosides, infants and small children under 2 years of age, during pregnancy and lactation, in alcoholics and in case of hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. Dosage: - For acute symptoms: Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 5 drops every half hour to hour (maximum 6 times daily). Long-term use should only be undertaken after consultation with a doctor experienced in homeopathy. - For chronic cases: Adults and adolescents from 12 years of age take 5 drops each 1 to 3 times daily and reduce the frequency of intake when the symptoms improve. - Homeopathic medicines should not be used for a long time without medical advice. Intake: - The drops should be taken half an hour before or after meals and preferably kept in the mouth for some time before swallowing. If necessary, the drops can be diluted in a little water. Patient advice: - In cases of diarrhoea, it is important to replace fluids and salts as a treatment measure. Prolonged diarrhoea or diarrhoea associated with blood or fever requires medical clarification and treatment. - In patients with liver disease, the medicine should only be used after consultation with a doctor. - Not suitable for infants, young children under 2 years of age and children under 12 years of age.
