It contains salts (electrolytes) and glucose. Oralpädon 240 Neutral is used for oral salt (electrolyte) and fluid supplementation in diarrhoea. It is important that the drinking solution contains a balanced concentration of electrolytes to compensate for fluid losses. Oralpädon contains glucose and electrolytes in an optimal composition. It is suitable for infants, children and adults and rapidly improves the general condition. The dosage of Oralpädon depends on the severity of the diarrhoea. The recommended dose for infants and young children is 3 to 5 sachets in 24 hours, for children 1 sachet after each bowel movement and for adults 1 to 2 sachets after each bowel movement.
