Leukoplast® Fixomull® stretch

Leukoplast® Fixomull® stretch is an adhesive bandage that was specially developed for the secure fixation of wound dressings on frequently moved parts of the body and joints.It is also suitable for attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements.The bandage can be cut to size and is made of a soft, supple material that is breathable.

Area of application

The particularly stretchy, soft and water vapor permeable Fixomull® stretch was developed by the LEUKOPLAST-experts for secure and comfortable fixation on areas of the body that move a lot or have strong contours.It is ideal for the full-surface fixation of wound dressings, ointment dressings, instruments, probes, catheters and measuring devices.The bandage is cuddly due to its transverse elasticity and adapts well to strongly contoured parts of the body.Stiffness, congestion and circulatory problems are prevented.The product has good immediate and permanent adhesion and good air and water vapor permeability.It prevents contamination, is also well tolerated by people with sensitive skin and is easy and versatile to use.

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the above ingredients, the product should not be used.

Dosage

Recommended use of Fixomull® stretch: Suitable for fixing wound dressings and compresses on frequently moved parts of the body and joints, also suitable for securely attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements.Fixomull Stretch can be cut to size and is supple.Cut off the required amount.Peel off one half of the protective film and stick the bandage to the affected part of the body.Now peel off the second half of the protective film, apply the bandage completely and smooth it out.
