Leukoplast® Fixomull® stretch is an adhesive bandage that was specially developed for the secure fixation of wound dressings on frequently moved parts of the body and joints.It is also ideal for attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements.The bandage can be cut to size and is made of a soft, supple material that adapts perfectly to the contours of the body.It is also breathable, which promotes skin health.

Area of application

The particularly stretchy and water vapor permeable Fixomull stretch was developed by the LEUKOPLAST-experts for secure and comfortable fixation on areas of the body that move a lot or have strong contours.It is ideal for the full-surface fixation of wound dressings, ointment dressings, instruments, probes, catheters and measuring devices.The bandage is cuddly due to its transverse elasticity and adapts well to strongly contoured parts of the body.Stiffness, congestion and circulatory problems are prevented.The product has good immediate and permanent adhesion and good air and water vapor permeability.It prevents contamination, is also well tolerated by people with sensitive skin and is easy and versatile to use.

Dosage

Fixomull stretch is suitable for fixing wound dressings and compresses on areas of the body and joints that move a lot, as well as for securely attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements.The bandage can be cut to size and is supple.To use, the required amount should be cut off.Half of the protective film is then removed and the bandage is stuck to the affected part of the body.The second half of the protective film is then removed, the bandage is completely applied and smoothed out.
