Leukoplast® Fixomull® stretch

Leukoplast® Fixomull® stretch is an adhesive bandage that was specially developed for the secure fixation of wound dressings on heavily moved parts of the body and joints.It is also ideal for attaching probes, catheters and measuring elements.The material is soft, supple and breathable, which ensures a high level of comfort.The bandage can also be cut to size so that it can be individually adapted to the respective requirements.

Fixomull stretch offers maximum adaptability and flexibility, making it ideal for use in the operating room, on the ward and in outpatient care.Particularly large bandages can be fixed quickly and easily with this product.Due to the needs-based cutting, the method saves material and costs.Thanks to its transverse elasticity, Fixomull stretch also adapts well to heavily contoured parts of the body and prevents constrictions, congestion and circulatory problems.

The bandage has good immediate and permanent adhesion as well as excellent air and water vapor permeability.It prevents contamination and is also well tolerated by patients with sensitive skin.Fixomull stretch is easy and versatile to use and is particularly economical in the 20 meter large roll.The product consists of a polyester fleece coated with polyacrylate adhesive.

The formula is latex-free and is not made with natural rubber latex.

Application

To use, the required amount of the bandage is cut off.Half of the protective film is then removed and the bandage is stuck to the affected part of the body.The second half of the protective film is then removed, the bandage is completely applied and smoothed out.

Fixomull stretch is suitable for the full-surface fixation of wound dressings, especially on joints, moving and contoured parts of the body.It is also used to securely attach probes, catheters, measuring elements and instruments.
