Information for use of the article B12-Tropfen Ankermann: - Important information: B12-Tropfen Ankermann contains the active substance cyanocobalamin (vitamin B12) 50 µg/ml and is used to prevent vitamin B12 deficiency syndromes in cases of long-term malnutrition. It also contains 10% alcohol by volume. - Indications for use: The drops are used for vitamin B12 deficiency caused by prolonged deficiency or malnutrition such as strict vegetarian diets. - What you should know before use: Do not take B12 drops Ankermann if you are hypersensitive to cyanocobalamin, alkyl 4-hydroxybenzoates (parabens) or any of the other ingredients of the medicine. No special precautions are necessary. - Interactions with other medicinal products: The absorption of vitamin B12 is inhibited by certain medicines such as colchicine (gout medicine), antibiotics and gastric acid inhibitors. - Directions for use: Take B12 drops Ankermann according to the instructions in the leaflet or as advised by your doctor or pharmacist. The recommended dose is 1 to 4 drops per day for adults and 1 to 2 drops per day for children. One drop contains 2.6 µg of vitamin B12. The drops are taken with a little liquid. - Storage: Keep the medicine out of the reach of children and do not store it above 25 °C. After opening the bottle, the medicine should be used within 6 months. - Side effects: No side effects are currently known for the medicinal product. - Composition: 1 ml solution contains 50 µg cyanocobalamin and other excipients. - Important information: The medicinal product contains small amounts of alcohol and parabens for preservation.
