The B12 drops Ankermann® contain 50 µg cyanocobalamin as an active ingredient.The following excipients are also included: orange peel oil, ethanol, glycerol 85%, sodium dihydrogen phosphate 2-water, 0.6 mg methyl 4-hydroxybenzoate and 0.2 mg propyl 4-hydroxybenzoate.No prescription is required for this product.

Area of application

Insufficient intake of vitamin B12 over a long period of time, for example through a meat-free or vegetarian diet, can lead to vitamin B12 deficiency.To prevent this, Ankermann® B12 drops can be used.With 2.6 micrograms per drop, they are well suited to preventing deficiency.

Dosage

Always take the medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.The recommended dose is 1 to 4 drops once daily for adults and 1 to 2 drops once daily for children.One drop corresponds to 2.6 µg of vitamin B12.It should be used for as long as the malnutrition or malnutrition persists.Please consult your doctor about this.

If you have taken a larger amount than you should, poisoning or overdose symptoms with the active ingredient vitamin B12 have not yet been reported.If you forget to take a dose, do not take a double dose.If you interrupt treatment, you endanger the success of the treatment.If unpleasant side effects occur, please talk to your doctor about further treatment.

Contraindications

No special precautions are required.

Pregnancy

The recommended daily vitamin B12 intake during pregnancy and breastfeeding is 4 µg.Experience to date has not shown any adverse effects on the fetus from higher doses.Vitamin B12 is excreted in breast milk.

Notes

Keep out of the reach of children.Contains alcohol.The medicine contains parabens (alkyl-4-hydroxybenzoates) for preservation.The medicine must not be used in patients with hypersensitivity to these substances.
