Instructions for use of the article BD Eclipse safety injection cannula 27 G 1/2 The BD Eclipse Safety Injection Cannula with SmartSlip Technology, 27 G x 1/2", 0.4 mm x 13 mm, provides complete safety and comfort during injection. The design of the cannula includes a sturdy integrated protective shield, a precision cannula with low-pain puncture and SmartSlip technology for a secure grip on Luer lock and Luer syringes. The double serration of the protective shield and the cannula housing provides double safety. The safety mechanism can be easily activated with one hand without the need for a solid base. A clear click indicates that the cannula is securely locked in the protective shield. The cannula has a ribbed grip plate to prevent slipping when activating the safety mechanism.
