Instructions for use of the article Leukomed Transparent Sterile Plaster 15x20 cm: - Leukomed T is a sterile, waterproof wound dressing for fixation and protection. - It can fix catheters, compresses and other medical aids water- and germ-tight. - It protects non-secreting wounds from friction and shear forces, and can relieve decubitus-prone skin sites. - The high water vapour permeability of the film prevents moisture accumulation and reduces the risk of maceration. - The highly flexible, waterproof film offers high wearing comfort and is like a second skin on joints and extremities. - Leukomed T is sterile and reliably protects against bacteria and germs. - The rounded corners ensure secure fixation. - The transparency allows continuous inspection of the wound or fixation. - The intuitive application system with the red strip enables uncomplicated, quick application, even with gloves. - Leukomed T consists of a transparent, extra-thin polyurethane film coated with a polyacrylate adhesive. - Fields of application are waterproof fixation of catheters, protection of non-secreting wounds, secondary dressings for low-secreting wounds and supportive prophylaxis of skin sites at risk of decubitus. - It can be used for up to 7 days.
