Leukomed® transp.Sterile patches are versatile and offer two main uses.On the one hand, they are used to secure catheters, cannulas, wound dressings and medical aids in a waterproof and germ-proof manner.On the other hand, they protect wounds that no longer secrete from friction and shearing forces, which can also relieve pressure on skin areas at risk of pressure sores.

The film's high water vapor permeability prevents moisture accumulation, which reduces the risk of maceration.The highly flexible, waterproof film offers a very high level of comfort and adapts to joints and extremities like a second skin.

Leukomed® transp.Sterile plasters are sterile and offer reliable protection against bacteria and viruses.The rounded corners ensure secure fixation, and the transparency allows continuous inspection of the wound or fixation.The intuitive application system with the red stripe makes it easy and quick to use, even with gloves.

The plaster consists of a transparent and extra-thin polyurethane film that is fully coated with polyacrylate adhesive.

Areas of application

Leukomed® transp.Sterile plasters are used to waterproof intravenous catheters, both peripherally and centrally.They are also suitable for protecting non-secreting wounds and as a secondary dressing for weakly secreting wounds.They can also be used for supportive prophylaxis of skin areas at risk of pressure sores.

Duration of application

The duration of use is up to 7 days.
