Instructions for use of the article Diben Drink Vanilla 1,5 Kcal/ml: - Dietary food for special medical purposes (balanced diet). - For supplementary nutrition: 2-3 EasyDrinks. - For complete nutrition: 5 EasyDrinks or as recommended by a doctor. - Store at room temperature. Opened bottles can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours. Shake well before use. - Nutritional values: 630 kJ (150 kcal) calorific value, 7.0 g fat, 13.1 g carbohydrates, 2.0 g fibre, 7.5 g protein, 0.16 g salt. - Ingredients: Water, milk protein, modified starch, maltodextrin, vegetable oils (rapeseed oil, sunflower oil), fructose, medium chain triglycerides (MCT), potassium citrate, fish oil, flavourings, emulsifiers, sodium chloride, choline hydrogen tartrate, acidity regulator, vitamins and trace elements. - Allergens: milk, fish, soya. - Net quantity: 800 ml (= 4 x 200 ml). - Country of origin of the food: Germany. - Manufacturer: Fresenius Kabi Deutschland GmbH. - Other mandatory information: For dietary management in patients with existing or impending malnutrition, especially in cases of impaired glucose tolerance. Not suitable if enteral nutrition is contraindicated and in case of intolerance to an ingredient contained in Diben DRINK . Not suitable in galactosemia. Not suitable for children. Use only under medical supervision. Suitable for exclusive nutrition. Ensure adequate fluid intake. - Dosage: Average daily dose for supplementary nutrition: 2-3 EasyDrinks. Average daily dose for exclusive nutrition: 5 EasyDrinks. - Indications: Enteral nutrition is generally indicated in the absence of or limited ability to provide adequate normal nutrition, especially in cases of impaired glucose tolerance, malnutrition, increased energy and nutrient requirements, convalescence. - Contraindications: Basic contraindication to enteral nutrition such as intestinal atony, ileus. Relative contraindication in liver insufficiency, renal insufficiency, acute pancreatitis. Metabolic disorders or intolerance to an ingredient. Not suitable for children under 3 years of age. - Storage: Optimal storage conditions at room temperature (15°C to 25°C). Cold storage (up to 4°C) possible for 3 months. Storage at higher temperatures (up to 40°C) possible for up to 1 month. Opened containers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 24 hours.
