Instructions for use of the article Prontoderm Wipes Einmalwascht.MRSA-Dekolonisier. Product properties: - Prontoderm Wipes - 10 moist disposable wipes for skin and mucous membrane - Very good skin wetting - Suitable for patients with sensitive skin and impaired mucous membranes - Ideal for time- and cost-saving skin decolonisation of immobile patients - Easy handling (no flannel, no washbowl) - No rinsing or washing up necessary - Can be heated in the microwave (550 W / 1 min.) Introduction: - Multi-resistant pathogens (MRE or MDRO = Multi Drug Resistant Organisms) such as MRSA, VRE or ESBL colonise the skin. - The aim is to reduce the incidence of infections through decolonisation. Indications for the Prontoderm product family: - MRE-Decolonisation by physical cleansing. - Suitable for use in the medical environment - Sustained antimicrobial barrier effect to prevent recolonisation by transient flora. - Inhibition of the growth, spread and transmission of MRE - Odour reduction. Application: - Whole body cleansing and decolonisation of immobile patients with Prontoderm solution and fresh flannels. - Oral care with ProntOral for rinsing mouth and throat - Cleaning of the nose with Prontoderm Nasal Gel - Hair washing with Prontoderm solution or wipes - Cleaning of the face, ears, trunk, legs, genital area and urethra with Prontoderm solution and fresh flannels - Decolonisation of mobile patients and staff with Prontoderm Shower Gel. Application time: - Use for a maximum of 15 days according to the guidelines for MDRO-decolonisation. Supportive hygiene measures: - Hand disinfection before and after patient contact. - Disinfection of all surfaces - Wearing protective clothing Side effects: - In rare cases, dry skin or slight burning sensation. - Do not use if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
