Instructions for use of the article "Bronchial Balsam Weleda". Important information: Weleda Bronchial Balm, oily liniment, is used according to the anthroposophical understanding of man and nature for catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract. The liniment contains peanut oil, eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil and rosemary oil. It is therefore important to read the package leaflet. Directions for use: Weleda Bronchial Balm is an anthroposophical medicinal product used for catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract. It is available without a prescription, but it is recommended to read the package leaflet carefully before use. The liniment should be used as prescribed to achieve the best possible treatment results. It is advisable to keep the leaflet and consult your doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions. If the clinical picture worsens or if there is no improvement after 5 days, a doctor should be consulted. What is Weleda Bronchial Balm and what is it used for? Weleda Bronchial Balm is a liniment used in accordance with the anthroposophical understanding of man and nature for catarrhal diseases of the respiratory tract. 2. what do you need to bear in mind before use? Weleda Bronchial Balm must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil, rosemary oil, peanut/soy or any of the other ingredients. It must not be used in babies and small children up to 2 years of age and also not in damaged skin, bronchial asthma, whooping cough, pseudocroup or when breastfeeding. In case of fever, shortness of breath or persistent or unclear complaints for more than 5 days, a doctor should be consulted. In children aged 2-5 years, use only on the express prescription of a doctor. During pregnancy, Weleda Bronchial Balsam should only be used on the express prescription of a doctor. There are no known interactions with other medicinal products. How should Weleda Bronchial Balm be used? Weleda Bronchial Balm is rubbed into the skin. In young children aged 2-5 years, the oil should not be used on the face. The bottle should be shaken well before use. The usual dose is 1-2 times daily rubbing. Treatment for acute inflammation should be completed after 2 weeks. If the application has been forgotten, a double dose should not be applied. If there is any uncertainty, the doctor or pharmacist should be consulted. 4. what side effects are possible? Weleda Bronchial Balm may cause hypersensitivity reactions (including respiratory distress) to eucalyptus oil, peppermint oil and rosemary oil in appropriately sensitised patients.
