Directions for use of Pure Encapsulations Vitamin E food supplement: - Pure Encapsulations Vitamin E is a high dose dietary supplement containing vitamin E. - Vitamin E consists largely of the biologically active tocopherols D-alpha-, beta- and gamma-tocopherol. - Vitamin E has an antioxidant effect and protects cells from free radical damage. - Pure Encapsulations vitamin E is standardised to 400 I.U. D-alpha-tocopherol per capsule. - The product contains 335 mg of natural vitamin E, of which 268 mg is D-alpha-tocopherol 400 I.E. and 67 mg is other tocopherols. - No allergens are contained. - The recommended dosage is 1 capsule per day with a meal. - Smokers are recommended to take less than 20 mg per day. - The food supplement should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be stored above 25°C. - Pure Encapsulations Vitamin E is suitable for sensitive individuals and allergy sufferers. - The product should not be used in cases of known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients. - There is insufficient evidence for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. - Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle.
