Tonsiotren H tablets are a homeopathic medicine used to treat sore throats and inflamed tonsils with difficulty swallowing. It contains the active ingredients Atropinum sulphuricum Trit. D5, Hepar sulphuris Trit. D3, Kalium bichromicum Trit. D4, Silicea Trit. D2 and Mercurius bijodatus Trit. D8. The application is done by slowly dissolving a tablet in the mouth. In acute complaints, one tablet can be taken every hour to every two hours until improvement occurs. After that, it is recommended to take one tablet three times a day. Children under 12 years of age should take one tablet every two hours for the first 1-2 days and then one tablet three times a day. In case of severe inflammation or purulent infections, as well as fever that lasts longer than three days or exceeds 39 degrees, a doctor should be consulted. In thyroid disorders, the preparation should not be used without medical advice. It should be kept out of the reach of children. As there is insufficient documented experience of use during pregnancy and breast-feeding, the medicinal product should only be used after consultation with a doctor. Side effects such as salivation and occasionally allergic reactions may occur. If side effects occur, the medicine should be discontinued. Tonsiotren H tablets are available in a pack of 60 tablets.
