The Platrix hard plaster bandage is a proven bandage material that is particularly suitable for treating fresh fractures.It is easy to process and can be modeled excellently.The bandage is economical to use because just a few layers are enough to create a durable support bandage.Platrix is also available as a longuette, which allows for individual cutting.

The Platrix hard plaster bandage offers numerous application advantages.It is characterized by excellent modelability and minimizes diving losses.The dipped bandage has an optimal consistency and is bright white.It also has a longer open time and high ultimate strength.

Technical data

The immersion water temperature should be between 20°C and 25°C.The dipping time is approximately 4 seconds for bandages and 1.5 seconds for longuettes.The open time is approx. 2 to 5 minutes.The bandage is partially resilient after 30 minutes and fully resilient after 48 hours.

Composition

Platrix consists of a cotton support that is coated with a special natural gypsum mixture.The formula is latex-free and is not made with natural rubber latex.

The Platrix hard plaster bandage is used for the primary care of fractures and other injuries that require immobilization.

The duration of application can be up to several weeks.
