Organic coconut oil

Coconuts provide a clear, pure oil with a mild and aromatic taste.This oil has been used for generations in traditional cooking and to care for skin and hair.However, it is not yet widespread in many regions.The coconuts come from organic farming.After harvesting, the organic nuts are gently dried, the meat is chopped and then the coconut flakes are cold-pressed.The high-quality coconut oil obtained in this way is only filtered and bottled.

This cold-pressed, all-natural coconut oil is not refined, bleached, deodorized or hydrogenated and is therefore of the highest quality.Coconut oil consists of 48% lauric acid, a medium-chain fatty acid that is easy to digest and provides energy.Unsaturated fatty acids can form trans fatty acids, which are undesirable in foods.Trans fatty acids cannot be formed from the saturated fatty acids in coconut oil.Cold-pressed, natural coconut oil is free of trans fatty acids because it consists predominantly of saturated fatty acids and is not partially hydrogenated.

Advantages

Due to its high saturated fatty acid content, coconut oil is the most heat-stable among vegetable fats.Other vegetable oils are damaged by heat, air and light and are prone to the formation of free radicals.Coconut oil, on the other hand, remains stable even at high temperatures and changes little.It is therefore ideal for roasting vegetables, meat and fish as well as for baking.

Particularly well-processed coconut oils, such as organic oil, can also be used for cold cooking.It's a good alternative to butter on bread or rice crackers.

The high stability of coconut oil is another advantage.Due to its composition, it is particularly easy to digest and can be used by the body quickly and without detours to generate energy.

Coconut oil penetrates skin and hair particularly quickly and stays there longer than water-rich creams.It protects the skin sustainably against moisture loss.Since coconut oil does not contain unsaturated fatty acids, it cannot form free radicals that attack the skin.

By the way: Breast milk, the first and most natural food for a newborn, consists of 50% saturated fatty acids.Coconut oil melts at around 25°C and becomes solid again at lower temperatures.This is a normal physical process and has no influence on quality.
