Cutimed Siltec is a highly absorbent foam dressing specially developed for the effective treatment of chronic wounds.It is particularly suitable for wounds with weak to moderate amounts of exudate.The special foam structure of the dressing allows vertical absorption of wound exudate of different viscosities and quantities, while at the same time ensuring high water vapor permeability.This ensures an optimal moist wound environment.The superabsorber technology supports powerful exudate management, so that the exudate is safely enclosed inside the product even under compression.

Cutimed Siltec has a skin-friendly silicone film on the wound contact side, which offers maximum protection to the skin surrounding the wound.This enables an atraumatic dressing change, which is particularly gentle on the patient.The bandage can be used particularly on heavily stressed skin and parchment/cortisone skin.Cutimed Siltec consists of a polyurethane foam with a gently adhesive silicone film and is latex-free.It is not made with natural rubber latex.

Areas of application

Change of dressing

Cutimed Siltec can remain on the wound for up to seven days, depending on the wound condition and exudation.
