Cutimed Siltec is a highly absorbent foam dressing specially developed for the effective treatment of chronic wounds.It is particularly suitable for wounds with weak to moderate amounts of exudate.The special foam structure of the dressing allows vertical absorption of wound exudate of different viscosities and quantities, while at the same time ensuring high water vapor permeability.This promotes an optimally moist wound environment.The superabsorber technology supports powerful exudate management, so that the exudate is safely enclosed inside the product even under compression.The skin-friendly silicone film on the wound contact side ensures maximum protection of the skin surrounding the wound and enables atraumatic dressing changes.Cutimed Siltec can be used particularly on heavily stressed skin and parchment/cortisone skin.The dressing consists of a polyurethane foam with a gently adhesive silicone film and is latex-free.

Areas of application

Cutimed Siltec is suitable for weakly to moderately exuding wounds.Areas of application include chronic wounds such as leg ulcers of various origins, diabetic ulcers and decubitus ulcers.Secondary healing wounds of various origins, such as postoperative wound healing disorders and skin transplants, can also be treated with it.

Change of dressing

The dressing can remain on the wound for up to seven days, depending on the wound condition and exudation.
