The Cutimed Siltec Sorbact PU-dressing is a bacteria-binding foam dressing with a silicone adhesive edge. It combines the effective exudate management of the Cutimed Siltec dressing with the antimicrobial effect of the Cutimed Sorbact dressing. Thanks to the Sorbact technology, germs are bound from the wound and inactivated without releasing chemical substances. The dressing reduces the number of germs in the wound, promotes the natural wound healing process and absorbs exudate vertically. It is suitable for all unclean, contaminated or infected wounds and is used for moderately to heavily exuding wounds as well as wounds at risk of infection. The maximum duration of application is 3 days. The dressing is latex-free and available in a pack of 12. Cutimed Siltec Sorbact offers advantages such as no development of resistance to pathogenic bacteria or fungi, no delay in healing and no known allergic side effects.
