Lenkideal is a short-stretch ideal bandage that is characterized by its versatility.It is used for the compressive fixation of wound dressings and for the application of ointment dressings.It is also suitable for compression of the extremities in phlebology and for pre-, intra- and postoperative thrombosis prophylaxis.The bandage can also be used to support and relieve strain in the case of sprains and contusions as well as for sports bandages.It is also suitable for treating tendonitis and for fixing splints.

The permanently elastic bandage is similar to the DIN-ideal bandage, but its elasticity is more durable and hard-wearing.Thanks to its flat fabric structure, it is not very bulky and is pleasantly breathable and skin-friendly.No prescription is required for this product.

Areas of application

The Lenkideal bandage is used for compressive fixation of wound dressings, for compression of the extremities in phlebology, for pre-, intra- and postoperative thrombosis prophylaxis, for supporting and relieving strains and contusions as well as for sports bandages, for treating tendonitis and for fixing splints.

Properties

The bandage is longitudinally elastic (approx. 85%), permanently elastic, permeable to air and is hardly bulky.It has selvedges and is white.

Notes

The bandage can be sterilized with steam (134°C) and ethylene oxide.

Product composition

The Lenkideal bandage consists of 64% cotton, 34% polyamide and 2% elastane.
