Lenkideal is a short-stretch ideal bandage that is suitable for compressively fixing wound dressings and for applying ointment dressings.It is also used for compression of the extremities in phlebology, for pre-, intra- and postoperative thrombosis prophylaxis, for supporting and relieving strains and contusions, and for sports bandages.It is also helpful in treating tendonitis and for fixing splints.The bandage is permanently elastic and is similar to the DIN-ideal bandage, but is more durable, more durable and more economical.Due to its flat fabric structure, it is not very bulky and is pleasantly breathable and skin-friendly.

Areas of application

The Lenkideal bandage is used for the compressive fixation of wound dressings, for compression of the extremities in phlebology, for pre-, intra- and postoperative thrombosis prophylaxis, for supporting and relieving strains and contusions as well as for sports bandages.It is also suitable for treating tendonitis.

Properties

The bandage is longitudinally elastic (approx. 85%), permanently elastic, permeable to air and is hardly bulky.It has selvedges and is white.

Notes

The bandage can be sterilized with steam (134°C) and ethylene oxide.

Product composition

The Lenkideal bandage consists of 64% cotton, 34% polyamide and 2% elastane.
