Cefaomega capsules are a food supplement containing 500 mg omega-3 fatty acids EPA+DHA and 6 mg vitamin E. The recommended daily dose varies according to the target and ranges from 1 to 6 capsules to be taken unchewed with sufficient water. The daily intake of EPA+DHA from fortified foods and food supplements should not exceed 5 g. The product contains fish oil, gelatine, glycerol, shellac, sodium carboxymethylcellulose, talc, DL-alpha-tocopheryl acetate and extracts containing strong tocopherols. It also contains allergens such as fish. The capsules support normal heart function, maintenance of normal blood pressure and triglyceride levels, and maintenance of normal vision and brain function. In addition, the vitamin E contained protects the cells from oxidative stress. The product is gluten-free and contains no colourings, sweeteners, flavouring, lactose or fructose. It should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. The recommended intake should not be exceeded. The product should be stored in a dry place away from light and out of the reach of children. It is manufactured in Germany, but the fish oil does not come from Germany.
