What is Scalibor® Protector tape?

The Scalibor® Protectorband is a collar that protects your dog from tick bites and mosquito bites.It is available in two sizes: 48 centimeters for small and medium-sized dogs and 65 centimeters for larger dogs.The active ingredient deltamethrin works against various parasites, including the common mosquito (Culex pipiens pipiens).

What advantages does Scalibor® Protectorband have?

The Scalibor® Protectorband protects your dog from parasites such as ticks, sand flies, sand flies, mosquitoes and butterfly gnats for up to six months.It is water-resistant and well tolerated.The deterrent effect of the collar is important because mosquitoes and other parasites can transmit pathogens such as babesiosis, Ehrlichiosis, Lyme disease, TBE, leishmaniasis and dirofilariasis.

How does the Scalibor® tick tape work?

The Scalibor® Protectorband is especially suitable for large dogs and contains the active ingredient deltamethrin.This works against insects and prevents infestation by ticks and gnats for about six months.The collar is 65 centimeters long and suitable for dogs aged 7 weeks and over.

The Scalibor® Protectorband contains 0.760 grams of deltamethrin and 0.285 grams of titanium dioxide (E 171) as additional ingredients.

Contraindications

The product should not be used on dogs under 7 weeks of age or on animals with skin lesions.The collar should not be used even if you are known to be hypersensitive to the ingredients.

Dosage

Place the Scalibor® Protector band around your dog's neck.Make sure there is two fingers space between the collar and your dog's neck.

When you should use Scalibor®

Your dog should be at least 7 weeks old to wear the Scalibor® collar.Follow instructions for proper use to ensure full effectiveness.
