Chamomilla, Radix 2% tablets are an anthroposophic medicine that is used for gastrointestinal diseases and biliary problems.According to the anthroposophical knowledge of man and nature, the tablets are used for functional disorders of motility and secretion in the gastrointestinal area and in the bile.This affects mobility and excretion disorders.

Active ingredient and other ingredients

The active ingredient in Chamomilla, Radix 2% tablets is Chamomilla recutita, Radix, ethanol.Decoctum mother tincture.Each tablet contains 0.04 g of this active ingredient.In addition, each tablet contains lactose monohydrate, wheat starch and calcium behenate as other ingredients.

What do you need to consider before taking Chamomilla, Radix 2?

Chamomilla, Radix 2% must not be used if you are hypersensitive (allergic) to wheat starch, chamomile or other composite plants.If symptoms persist or are unclear, please consult a doctor.Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicines during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.Interactions with other medicines are not known.

Important information about certain ingredients of Chamomilla, Radix 2%: This medicine contains lactose.If you know that you have an intolerance to certain sugars, please only take it after consulting your doctor.Wheat starch may contain small amounts of gluten, which are also considered tolerable by patients suffering from celiac disease.

How to take Chamomilla, Radix 2?

Always take Chamomilla, Radix 2% exactly as your doctor has told you.Unless otherwise prescribed by the doctor, the usual dose is: Adults and adolescents aged 12 and over take 1 - 2 tablets 3 - 5 times daily.Schoolchildren aged 6 to 11 take 1 tablet 3 - 5 times a day.Small children aged 1 to 5 years take 1 tablet 2 - 3 times daily.Infants in their 1st year of life take 1/2 tablet 3 times daily.

Chamomilla, Radix 2% is taken before meals, if necessary with water.Infants and small children should receive the tablets crushed with a little liquid to make them easier to take.If you forget to take Chamomilla, Radix 2%, do not take a double dose.

What side effects are possible?

Like all medicines, Chamomilla, Radix 2% can cause side effects, although not everyone gets them.Wheat starch can cause hypersensitivity reactions.Hypersensitivity reactions to chamomile are very rare.However, there are isolated reports of the occurrence of anaphylactic shock or bronchial asthma.

What else is important?

You must not use the medicine after the expiry date stated on the label and carton.Storage conditions: Do not store above 25°C.
