Directions for use of the article "Advantage 100 Dog": - Advantage is a solution for dropping onto the skin of dogs, cats and pet rabbits. - The active substance is imidacloprid. - It is used to prevent and treat flea infestations in dogs and cats. - It is also effective against hair lice infestation in dogs and flea infestation in pet rabbits. - After application, fleas on the animal are killed within 24 hours. - The single treatment lasts for 4 weeks against fleas in dogs and 3-4 weeks in cats. - It can also be used as part of a treatment strategy for allergic dermatitis caused by flea bites. - Side effects include short-term salivation and rarely skin reactions. - It should not be used in puppies under 8 weeks of age, rabbits for human consumption or pet rabbits under 10 weeks of age. - Read the package leaflet and consult your veterinarian or pharmacist for risks and side effects. - The product is available only on prescription.
