Product description: Reso-Pac®

Reso-Pac® is an innovative wound protection paste that is characterized by its unique properties.Unlike conventional products, it does not need to be removed as it is hydrophilic and dissolves slowly.It sticks even to moist and bleeding wounds and does not come off.Another advantage is that it contains myrrh, which has a tissue-strengthening, astringent and hemostatic effect.Reso-Pac can also serve as a carrier for medications, fluorides and hemostatic agents.

Composition

The composition of Reso-Pac® includes the following ingredients: carboxymethylcellulose, polyvinyl acetate, alcohol denat., Commiphora myrrha, petrolatum and polyethylene oxide resin.

Instructions for use

1.) Squeeze the desired amount of Reso-Pac® from the tube onto very wet fingers or gloves.To do this, use the tube key, which makes it easier for you to remove the thick paste.

2.) Form Reso-Pac® into a thin roll, possibly under running water, and stick it to the area to be treated.Use Reso-Pac® sparingly as the material swells slightly.

3.) A medication can also be applied under the Reso-Pac® wound protection paste, which can then work on this area for hours.

4.) Smooth the surface of the applied Reso-Pac® wound protection paste with a well-moistened finger or Vaseline.

5.) Close the tube immediately after removing the material, as the material hardens very quickly.

Areas of application

Reso-Pac® is a hydrophilic, mainly cellulose oral wound protection paste that can also be used as a medication, hemostatic agent or fluoride carrier.Due to its composition, it sticks very well to damp and even bleeding surfaces.Reso-Pac® is ideal for covering wounds during tooth extractions, especially if the wound needs to be protected from mechanical influences and immobilization of the adjacent tissue is not guaranteed.Reso-Pac® can also be used as a medication carrier, for example in wound care as part of anticoagulant treatment.Without mastication or manipulation, Reso-Pac® sticks for up to 30 hours, which is sufficient to achieve a stable fibrin layer in the wound.A useful addition to Reso-Pac® are the products Miradont-Gel (micronutrient gel) and Myzotect-Tincture (myrrh-benzoin tincture), which have a pain-relieving effect when applied before Reso-Pac® is applied.
