Cartilago/Echinacea comp.Globuli velati are a homeopathic medicine that is used according to anthroposophical knowledge of humanity and nature to stimulate and harmonize form and regeneration processes in inflammatory diseases of the small joints.No prescription is required for this product.

Active ingredients and ingredients

10 Grams of Globuli velati contain the following active ingredients: Articulatio interphalangea bovis glycerol extract (hom./anthr.) in a dilution of D16, Echinacea e planta tota ferm 33c (hom./anthr.) in a dilution of D1 and quartz aquosum (hom./anthr.) in a dilution of D29.The product contains lactose and sucrose as excipients.

Contraindications

Cartilago/Echinacea comp.must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to any of the active ingredients or excipients or to other composite plants.For fundamental reasons, the product must not be taken in progressive systemic diseases such as tuberculosis, leukosis, collagen vascular disease, multiple sclerosis, AIDS-diseases, HIV-infections, chronic viral diseases and autoimmune diseases.

Precautions and warnings

There is no adequately documented experience with the use of this medicine in children.It should therefore not be used in children under 12 years of age.This medicine contains sucrose and lactose.Please take Cartilago/Echinacea comp.Only contact your doctor if you know that you have an intolerance to certain sugars.

Dosage and method of administration

Unless otherwise prescribed, 5 to 10 globules of velati should be allowed to melt under the tongue up to once a day.

Duration of application

Cartilago/Echinacea comp.should not be taken for longer than 2 weeks without interruption.The duration of treatment for chronic diseases requires consultation with the doctor.

Side effects

Hypersensitivity reactions can occur very rarely.Skin rash, itching, rarely facial swelling, shortness of breath, dizziness and drop in blood pressure have been observed for medicines containing preparations from echinacea.In these cases you should stop taking the medicine and consult your doctor.
