Lichen honey - for dry coughs

Weleda lichen honey syrup is an anthroposophical medicine that is used to relieve catarrhal-inflammatory diseases of the respiratory tract.These include inflammation of the windpipe (tracheitis) and bronchitis.The syrup helps to soothe the urge to cough and loosen mucus.No prescription is required for this product.

The syrup should not be stored above 25°C.After opening the pack, the syrup will last for 1 month.

100 g (equivalent to 75 ml) of the syrup contains the following active ingredients: 28.9 g aqueous extract of 3 g Icelandic moss, 1.2 g reindeer lichen and 0.6 g Usnea barbata with the addition of 3 g sucrose (drug to extract 1:6), 13 g bee honey, 0.1 g anise oil and 3 g Sticta pulmonaria.Other ingredients include sucrose (sucrose), gum arabic, ethanol, fructose, glucose and sucrose.

Notes

The syrup contains 80 mg alcohol (ethanol) per 5 ml, which corresponds to an alcohol content of 1.6% (m/m).It also contains sucrose and invert sugar/honey.

Please do not use this medicine after the expiry date stated on the pack or outer packaging.The expiry date refers to the last day of the specified month.
