Use in children and adolescents

Pen needles can be used in different ways for children and adolescents.Needles with a length of 4 mm are suitable vertically without skin folds.5 or 6 mm needles can be used vertically with skin folds.For an oblique injection without a skin fold, 6 mm needles are suitable, while for an oblique injection with a skin fold, 8 mm needles are used.

Use in adults

Adults can also use the pen needles in different ways.Vertical needles with 4 or 5 mm are suitable without skin folds.Vertical with skin fold needles with 6, 8 or 12 mm can be used.For an oblique injection without a skin fold, 6, 8 or 12 mm needles are suitable, while for an oblique injection with a skin fold, 12 mm needles are used.

Note: Pen needles are disposable and should be discarded after each use.
