Use in children and adolescents

In children and adolescents, the needles can be used in different ways.Needles with a length of 4 mm are suitable vertically and without skin folds.Needles with a length of 5 or 6 mm are suitable for vertical skin folds.For an oblique injection without a skin fold, a 6 mm needle is recommended, while for an oblique injection with a skin fold, an 8 mm needle should be used.

Use in adults

Adults can also use the needles in different ways.Vertical and without skin folds, needles with a length of 4 or 5 mm are suitable.Needles with a length of 6, 8 or 12 mm are suitable for vertical skin folds.For an oblique injection without a skin fold, a 6, 8, or 12 mm needle is recommended, while for an oblique injection with a skin fold, a 12 mm needle should be used.

It is important to note that pen needles are disposable and should be discarded after each use.
