Delta-Cast Soft is a semi-rigid support cast used to treat injuries that require functional immobilization but do not require rigid immobilization.The longuette achieves targeted partial stabilization, whereby the bandage remains flexible even when applied in multiple layers and thus offers a high level of functionality.The special resin formulation ensures that Delta-Cast Soft remains flexible and always takes its original shape.

The support bandage is lightweight and remains flexible even when applied in multiple layers, making it easy to remove with scissors.It can be laid out wrinkle-free and has soft edges and cut edges.It is also stable, break-proof, water-resistant and breathable.Delta-Cast Soft is x-ray transparent.

Technical data

The immersion water temperature is 20°C to 25°C.The open time is around 2 to 5 minutes, and the bandage is fully resilient after 20 minutes.

Material

Delta-Cast Soft consists of a special polyester fabric that is coated with a water-repellent polyurethane resin.The formula is latex-free and is not made with natural rubber latex.

Application

The support bandage is suitable for circular cast bandages as well as for functional cast therapy.

The duration of use can vary from a few days to several weeks.
