Alopexy 5% solution is a medicinal product for the treatment of moderate hair loss in men due to androgenetic alopecia. It contains the active substance minoxidil. Use in women is not recommended due to the risk of abnormal hair growth. Before use, it is important to read the leaflet carefully and follow the instructions of your doctor or pharmacist. Alopexy must not be used if there is an allergy to minoxidil or any of the ingredients, in case of scalp disease or injury or in children and elderly people. Some precautions should be taken when using it, such as avoiding contact with eyes, wounds or irritated skin, and wearing head protection when in the sun. Also, other skin preparations should not be used at the same time. In some cases, side effects such as abnormal hair growth, headaches and local skin reactions may occur. In severe cases, treatment should be discontinued and a doctor consulted. Alopexy should be kept out of the reach of children and should not be used after the expiry date.
