GC Tooth Mousse is a water-based cream that contains bioavailable calcium and phosphate.The active ingredient Recaldent™ is obtained from milk protein, more precisely from casein.It has long been known that milk and dairy products protect teeth.Research has shown that this is due to the casein phosphopeptide (CPP), a part of the protein casein.This CPP carries calcium and phosphate ions in the form of amorphous calcium phosphates (ACP).

GC Tooth Mousse is the first professional product to contain the CPP-ACP-complex (Recaldent™).This complex is an ideal supplier of bioavailable calcium and phosphate ions. Product features

Indications

GC Tooth Mousse can be used before and after in-office whitening, after ultrasonic or manual teeth cleaning and after cervical procedures.It is also suitable after professional teeth cleaning, after the application of external fluorine, as surface protection for patients with erosions, xerostomia or Sjögren's syndrome, during orthodontic treatment and at high risk of caries.It is also suitable for patients with special needs.

Application in practice

Tooth Mousse can GC be used in practice with or without an individual spoon.When used with a spoon, it is cleaned after bleaching, filled with a generous portion of GC Tooth Mousse and applied to the upper and/or lower jaw.The spoon remains in the mouth for at least three minutes, then the remains are distributed with the tongue and kept in the mouth for as long as possible.Remains are carefully spit out and the patient should not eat or drink again for at least 30 minutes after treatment.

When used without a spoon, distribute a sufficient amount of GC Tooth Mousse onto the tooth surface using a swab, glove or interproximal brush.The process is similar to using with a spoon, with the aim of keeping the cream in your mouth for as long as possible.

Home use

For daily use after brushing, apply a sufficient amount of GC Tooth Mousse to the upper and lower jaw and leave undisturbed for at least three minutes.The cream is then spread with the tongue and kept in the mouth for as long as possible.Residues can easily remain in the oral cavity and the patient should not eat or drink again for at least 30 minutes after application.

For use in the evening or at night, the same procedure is followed as for daily use, although the remains of GC Tooth Mousse can easily remain in the oral cavity overnight.

Flavors and storage

GC Tooth Mousse is available in strawberry, melon, vanilla, mint and tutti-frutti flavors.It should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from direct sunlight, at temperatures between 8-25°C.The shelf life is two years from the date of production.

Pack sizes

GC Tooth Mousse is available in tubes containing 40g (35ml) each.There are assortment packs with two each of strawberry, vanilla, melon, mint and tutti-frutti as well as packs with one flavor each.There are also refill packs with a tube in every flavor.

The tube should always be closed immediately after use and any paste residue or moisture on the tube neck or cap should be removed.In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with running water and seek medical help.Splashes on clothing can be washed off with water.If symptoms of angioedema occur, treatment should be stopped immediately and the patient should be referred to a medical professional.
