GC Tooth Mousse is a water-based cream that contains the active ingredient Recaldent™.Recaldent™ is made from milk protein, specifically casein.This casein phosphopeptide (CPP) transports calcium and phosphate ions in the form of amorphous calcium phosphates (ACP).This compound was developed at the School of Dental Science at the University of Melbourne in Australia.Recaldent™ is a licensed trademark.

Ingredients

The ingredients of GC Tooth Mousse include: water, glycerol, CPP-ACP, D-sorbitol, CMC-Na, propylene glycol, silicon dioxide, titanium dioxide, xylitol, phosphoric acid, flavors, zinc oxide, sodium saccharin, ethyl p-hydroxybenzoate, magnesium oxide, guar gum, propyl p-hydroxybenzoate E217 andButyl p-hydroxybenzoate.

Application in practice

GC Tooth Mousse can be applied with a customized spoon or without a spoon.When used with a spoon, it is cleaned after bleaching, filled with a generous portion of GC Tooth Mousse and left in the mouth for at least three minutes.The cream is then spread with the tongue and kept in the mouth for another 1-2 minutes.Remains are carefully spit out and the patient should not eat or drink for 30 minutes.

When used without a spoon, the cream is applied to the surface of the tooth with a swab, glove or interproximal brush and left in the mouth for at least three minutes.The rest of the process corresponds to the application with a spoon.

Home use

GC Tooth Mousse can also be used at home.After brushing your teeth, apply a sufficient amount of the cream to the upper and lower jaw and leave it on for at least three minutes.The cream is then spread with the tongue and kept in the mouth for another 1-2 minutes.Remnants may remain in the oral cavity and the patient should not eat or drink for 30 minutes.

Another option is to use it in the evening or at night.Here the cream remains in the oral cavity overnight and the patient should not eat or drink anything for 30 minutes after application.

Flavors and storage

GC Tooth Mousse is available in a variety of flavors including strawberry, melon, vanilla, mint and tutti-frutti.For optimal storage, the cream should be stored in a cool and dry place, protected from direct sunlight, at temperatures between 8-25°C.The shelf life is two years from the date of production.
