Instructions for use of the article Iscador M c. Arg Series I Solution for Injection: - Iscador M c. Arg is an anthroposophical medicinal product for the treatment of tumour diseases. - It is used to stimulate the formative and integrative forces to dissolve and reintegrate growth processes in the reproductive organs, bladder and female breast. - It can be used for malignant and benign tumour diseases, to prevent tumour recurrence after surgery and for defined precancerous conditions. - It must not be used in cases of known intolerance to mistletoe preparations, in acute inflammatory or highly febrile diseases, in chronic granulomatous diseases and autoimmune diseases with severe signs of disease or under immunosuppressive treatment and in hyperthyroidism with palpitations. - In primary brain and spinal cord tumours or brain metastases with a risk of increased intracranial pressure, Iscador M c. Arg. should only be used on medical prescription. - It should be used with caution during pregnancy and breast-feeding as the effects on the unborn child have not been studied. - No interactions with other medicinal products have been studied. - Iscador M c. Arg. is injected subcutaneously near the tumour or metastases. - The dosage is individual and is increased gradually to avoid overreactions. - A gradual dosage is recommended at the beginning of the therapy. - Side effects may include a slight increase in body temperature, localised inflammatory reactions and allergic reactions. - Iscador M c. Arg. should be stored in the refrigerator and kept out of reach of children. - The duration of use is determined by the doctor and may be several years. - No specific dosage recommendations have been made for patients with impaired renal function. - The individual series packs contain different strengths of the medicinal product.
