Cefathyreo is a homeopathic medicinal product used for the supportive treatment of thyroid dysfunction. It contains the active ingredients Euspongia officinalis Ø, Scrophularia nodosa Ø and Thyreoidinum trit. D4. It should not be used without medical advice and does not replace other medicines prescribed by a doctor. During a thyroid examination, the doctor must be informed of the medicine intake. The medicine is used in adults and adolescents over 12 years of age. The tablets can be chewed or taken with liquid. However, the dosage and duration of use should be discussed with a doctor. The medicine must not be taken if you are hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, have a hypersensitivity to iodine or are under 12 years of age. During pregnancy and breastfeeding, the medicinal product should only be used after consulting a doctor. No side effects have been observed so far when taking the medicine. The medicinal product contains lactose and should therefore be taken with caution in case of lactose intolerance.
