Lomatuell Pro is a gel-forming contact mesh specifically developed for wound care.It is suitable for various areas of application and supports wound healing in different phases.

Dressing change interval

The recommended dressing change interval is usually 2 to 4 days.However, depending on the type and healing progress of the wound, the bandage can be left on the wound for a longer period of time, up to a maximum of 7 days, or for a shorter period of time.

Product composition

The product consists of a polyester fiber mesh tulle impregnated with a coating compound.This coating material contains a polymer matrix that forms an elastically deformable fixing material, as well as petroleum jelly and hydrocolloid.

Areas of application

Lomatuell Pro can be used in different phases of wound healing, including the exudation phase, the granulation phase and the epithelialization phase.

It is suitable for chronic wounds such as leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and pressure sores.It can also be used for acute wounds such as lacerations, cuts and abrasions as well as second degree burns.

The product can also be used for post-surgical wounds, such as secondary healing surgical wounds and split-thickness skin donor sites.Based on in-vitro studies, Lomatuell Pro can also be combined with negative pressure therapy as a wound distance grid.

The product forms a gel layer made of petroleum jelly and hydrocolloid particles.It allows for atraumatic dressing changes and is easy to use.Lomatuell Pro can be used on both sides and can be tailored to different wound sizes and areas of the body.

It supports wound healing and minimizes the risk of adhesion to the wound.The flexible and supple material ensures good exudate drainage into the secondary dressing and enables painless dressing changes.
