Active ingredients and ingredients

The medicine contains three main active ingredients: sodium sulfate, magnesium sulfate and potassium sulfate.The following excipients are also included: malic acid, citric acid, sucralose, purified water, sodium benzoate, fruit flavor, flavorings, propylene glycol, ethanol, dilute acetic acid and benzoic acid.

Area of application

This medicine is used in adults to cleanse the intestines before medical or surgical procedures.It is not suitable for treating constipation.Before use, the medicine must be diluted with the specified amount of water.No prescription is required for this product.

Contraindications

The medicine must not be taken if you are allergic to any of the active ingredients or excipients.It should also not be used in cases of severe heart problems, severe dehydration, inflammatory bowel diseases such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, stomach or intestinal problems such as intestinal obstruction, toxic colitis, perforated intestinal wall, intestinal paralysis, gastric emptying disorders, acute abdominal diseases, nausea and vomiting, ascites or severe kidney problems.

Dosage

Take the medicine exactly as described or as directed by your doctor.It can be taken on either a two-day schedule or a one-day schedule.Your doctor will decide which plan you should follow.If no anesthesia is given, you should stop drinking fluids at least one hour before the procedure.With anesthesia it is usually at least two hours.

If you take more than you should, report it to your doctor and drink plenty of water or clear liquids.If you miss a dose, talk to your doctor as soon as possible.

Intake

The medicine is taken orally.A light breakfast is allowed the day before the procedure, after which you should only consume clear liquids.The medicine comes in two bottles that should not be drunk at once.Dilute the contents of a bottle with water and drink slowly.Then drink two more cups of water or clear liquids.Repeat this process as directed by your doctor.

Patient information

Before taking the medicine, talk to your doctor if you are dehydrated, have problems with sodium or potassium levels in the blood, have heart, kidney or liver problems, gout, difficulty swallowing, reflux, physical weakness or restricted intestinal motility.Elderly or weakened patients should pay particular attention to the recommendations.Frequent loose stools may occur after ingestion, which is normal.Stay near a toilet until the effects wear off.

The medicine is not suitable for patients under 18 years of age.It is unlikely to affect the ability to drive or use machines.

Pregnancy

If you are pregnant, breast-feeding, or planning to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.If you are breast-feeding, you should not breast-feed your baby for 48 hours after taking the second dose.
