Medivitan® iV ampoules are used for combined deficiencies of vitamin B6, vitamin B12 and folic acid that cannot be remedied through nutrition.The restorative treatment can be used for exhaustion, listlessness and tiredness.

Active ingredients / ingredients / ingredients

Medivitan® iV ampoules contain the following active ingredients: 1 mg cyanocobalamin, 5 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride, 4.11 mg pyridoxine and 1.05 mg folic acid.Sodium chloride, sodium hydroxide and water for injections are included as excipients.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients, the product should not be used.The medicinal product must not be used in cases of hypersensitivity to pyridoxine hydrochloride, cyanocobalamin, folic acid or any of the other ingredients, as well as in the case of inflammatory tissue changes in the application area, suspected folic acid hypersensitivity, megaloblastic anemia as a result of an isolated vitamin B12 deficiency and isolated folic acid deficiency.

Dosage

The recommended dose is to inject one dose intramuscularly or intravenously twice a week and carry out this therapy for 4 weeks (8 injections in total).In the case of intestinal absorption disorders, the drug should be administered intramuscularly or intravenously at intervals of 4 weeks.Folic acid should be taken orally daily between injections.

Medivitan® iV ampoules are administered in a doctor's office.The recommended dose is to inject one dose of Medivitan® iV ampoules intramuscularly or intravenously twice a week and carry out this therapy for 4 weeks (8 injections in total).Medivitan® iV ampoules can be administered regardless of time of day, meals or activities.Medivitan® iV ampoules are not suitable for use in children and adolescents under 18 years of age.
