Directions for use of the article Doppelherz system Ginkgo 240 mg Film-Coated Tablets: Doppelherz system Ginkgo 240 mg Film-Coated Tablets contain the active substance ginkgo biloba leaves dry extract and are used to improve age-related cognitive impairment and quality of life in mild dementia. The medicinal product must not be taken if there is an allergy to ginkgo biloba dry extract or any of the other ingredients, or during pregnancy. People with an increased tendency to bleed, epilepsy, planned surgery or an intolerance to certain sugars should consult their doctor or pharmacist before taking the medicine. The recommended dose for adults is 1/2 tablet twice daily. It should be taken independently of meals with a glass of water. The duration of treatment is at least 8 weeks. Possible side effects include headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, lower abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, bleeding from individual organs, allergic shock and allergic skin reactions. Pregnant women and nursing mothers should consult their doctor or pharmacist before use. The medicinal product should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age. It should be stored at a temperature below 30 °C and kept away from children. The pack contains 30 or 120 film-coated tablets. The medicinal product is manufactured by Queisser Pharma GmbH & Co KG .
