Dobendan Direkt Flurbiprofen Spray is a medicine for the symptomatic treatment of acute sore throats in adults. The spray contains the active substance flurbiprofen, which has an anti-inflammatory and analgesic effect. It is sprayed directly into the throat where it penetrates deep into the inflamed tissue to relieve pain and inflammation. The spray is easy to use and can be applied every 3 to 6 hours as needed. The maximum daily dose is five doses. Use beyond a three-day period should only be done after consulting a doctor. The spray is suitable for adults and does not contain antibiotics or alcohol. It can also help with sore throats caused by viruses. Side effects may occur but should be rare. If you have any concerns or questions, you should read the leaflet or consult a doctor or pharmacist.

I bought the product when I had an infection and nothing else could relieve my sore throat. The product was the only thing that brought any relief at the time. It is helping me again with my current infection. It works really well against sore throats, is easy to use and I don't need to keep sucking on it.

highly recommended especially for severe sore throats, can be applied directly to the painful area thanks to the spray direction, often works for me for several hours, in contrast to the lozenges, the tongue is not anaesthetised; bottle is small and therefore easy to take with you

Spray was purchased as an emergency medication about 1 - 2 years ago, shelf life until 05.2019. Now the medication was needed due to severe sore throat but nothing comes out of the spray head. I contacted the manufacturing company and was told to send photos, which I did, but was then told sorry, please contact your pharmacy with a receipt. No idea whether I bought it here or somewhere else. So €7 for the rubbish bin and get something else for the pain.
