Mode of action

The cream nourishes, repairs and soothes very dry skin prone to neurodermatitis.It helps to restore the damaged skin barrier and thus reduces feelings of tension and itching.The skin is intensively moisturized and feels supple.The safflower oil it contains supports the development of the skin's protective hydrolipidic film.Hydroxydecine restores the skin barrier while beta-glycyrrhetinic acid has a calming effect.Isoleucine limits the adhesion of S.aureus bacteria and Malassezia yeasts.

The Ducray Dexyane anti-itch cream contains the following ingredients: water, caprylic/capric triglycerides, safflower oil, mineral oil, glycerin, cetearyl alcohol, glyceryl stearate, PEG-100 stearate, 10-hydroxydecenoic acid, beeswax, benzoic acid, caprylyl glycol, cetearyl glucoside, glycyrrhetinic acid,Isoleucine, Polyacrylate-13, Polyisobutene, Polysorbate 20, Sodium Hydroxide, Sorbitan Isostearate and Tocopheryl Acetate.

Contraindications

If you are known to be hypersensitive to any of the ingredients mentioned, the product should not be used.

Dosage

The cream should be applied to dry skin areas once a day and massaged in gently until completely absorbed.

Studies

In a study with 55 subjects, including 25 adults and 33 infants/children, who suffered from mild to moderate neurodermatitis, there was a 76% reduction in itching after 8 days of daily use%.
