The special thing about proSan Osteo D3/K2 is the combination of calcium and vitamin D3 with vitamin K2.Three micronutrients are crucial for nourishing the cells in the bones (bone metabolism) and thus also for bone density: vitamins D3 and K2 and calcium.

Vitamin D3 supports the absorption and utilization of calcium from the intestine into the blood.However, the calcium is not yet in the bones.For this, the body needs vitamin K2.Only with the help of vitamin K2 does calcium get from the blood to the bones where it is needed.Important for bone density and thus the resilience of the bones.

The vitamin K2 (MK-7) used in proSan Osteo D3/K2 comes from natural plant sources - is well absorbed by the body and is active in the body longer than other forms of K2.
