Product description and intended purpose

The sterile absorbent compress measuring 10 cm x 20 cm consists of a soft non-woven fabric, which encloses an absorbent body made of soft, bleached cellulose fluff and a cellulose layer for secretion distribution.A liquid-impermeable layer of fleece is on the back of the compress.The absorbent compress is used to care for and clean heavily weeping, infected or chronic wounds.It is also used for weeping wound healing disorders, to cushion wounds and as a secondary dressing for heavily exuding wounds.It is intended for one-time use.

Composition

The absorbent compress is made of polypropylene and cellulose.

Contraindications

All moderately to weakly secreting wounds, especially in the granulation and epithelialization phase, as well as deep and undermined wounds, should not be treated with absorbent compresses.If you have a known allergy to one of the components mentioned, the product must not be used.

Normative and legal requirements

The absorbent compress is a medical product according to MPG, Directive 93/42/EWG and Regulation MDR (EU) 2017/745 and is classified in Class Is, Rule 4.Sterilization is carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 11135. The product does not contain any dangerous toxic substances according to REACH.It carries CE and DIN EN ISO 15223-1 marking at all stages of packaging.

Packaging

The primary packaging consists of foil and paper packaging.The secondary packaging is a cellulose folding box, and the tertiary packaging is a cellulose cardboard box.

Storage

The absorbent compresses should be stored dry and dust-free.
