The Wellion Galileo blood sugar test strips enable reliable blood sugar measurement with just a small drop of blood.These test strips are specifically designed for use with the Wellion Galileo measuring devices (Wellion Galileo Glu/KET, Wellion Galileo Glu/CHOL and Wellion GALILEO Compact).These devices are suitable for both home measurements and for use by healthcare professionals.

Handling

To test your blood sugar, take a test strip out of the container and close it immediately.Insert the test strip into the meter to activate it.The “Glu” symbol, a flashing blood drop symbol and the test strip symbol appear on the display.

Next, place the lancing device with a fresh lancet on the side of your fingertip and press the trigger button to take a drop of blood.Hold the tip of the test strip into the blood sample at a slight angle.The test strip absorbs the blood and the meter beeps when there is enough blood.After a countdown of 5 seconds, the measurement result is shown on the display.

Useful hints

It is important not to use expired test strips.Therefore, always check the expiry date on the test strip container and packaging.After removing a test strip, close the container immediately to protect the remaining test strips from humidity.Use the test strips immediately after collection and avoid using wet or damaged test strips.

Store the test strips in a dry and cool place, away from direct sunlight and heat.Avoid storing in the bathroom.Record the opening date on the test strip container label and discard remaining test strips 6 months after first opening.Discard the used test strip and lancet immediately after the measurement.
