The lipstick moisturises, contains vitamins C and E and contains manuka essential oil, which is considered an effective remedy for cold sores. I bought this product because of the many good reviews on the internet, especially Amazon, and was sceptical at first. But after the first application, when the unloved blisters with tingling and redness appeared again, it was gone within a few hours and repeated applications! Even tea tree oil doesn't always work. I can't judge for myself how it works on a real outbreak as I haven't had one since I started using this stick - that speaks for itself. The best thing, however, is that I am no longer surprised at night when I apply it before going to bed. I can finally sleep peacefully again! I can only warmly recommend all herpes sufferers to try this care stick, despite the price. It works better than chemical products, smells lemony and lasts a very long time in my case.
